44 STEPS
1. The first step is to open your dashboard in Atlas
2. Click the name of your course
3. Type the unit name
4. Choose the start date
5. Choose the end date
6. Click Save
7. Click the unit that you just added
8. Type the enduring understanding.
9. If you need to add an attachment, click Add an Attachment
10. Click on the location of your file. For this example, we'll use Google Drive.
11. In the window that opens, click your name.
12. Click Allow
13. Search for your file
14. Double click on your desired file.
15. Enter the subject for the subject specific essential question.
16. Enter the associated essential question
17. Repeat this for each subject area. You may need to add additional rows. To do this, click the table icon. Make sure you are in the table you are working in.
18. Click Insert row below
19. This will add a new row for you.
21. Click Choose Skills to choose the Portrait of a Learner capacities
22. Click (Choose a Subject)
23. Select Portrait of a Learner
24. Click each of the POL skills
25. Click Save
27. Type the experience and the product.
28. Enter information about Student Agency.
29. Enter Collaboration. Do the same for Who Will Help and Who is the Audience.
30. Click Add New Assessment
31. Type the name of the assessment
32. Choose the assessment type
33. Enter the assessment description.
34. Click Save
35. Enter the unit reflection.
36. Scroll and click Skills Alignments
37. Click Choose Skills
38. Scroll and click (Choose a Subject)
39. Select the relevant subject.
40. Click (Choose a Grade)
41. Select the grade
42. Scroll down and click on each of the skills targeted
43. Click Save
44. That's it. You're done.
Complete this process for each subject involved in this unit. In the final steps, choose only the skills relevant to the subject (there should be no overlap).
