Greenwich Country Day School uses Veracross to manage school communications. As such, it is very important that you "whitelist" the Veracross email servers to ensure that you receive messages from GCDS faculty, staff, and administrators.

Check Your Spam Folder

If you're not receiving emails from GCDS, please check your spam folder first. If you locate a message that was incorrectly marked as spam, press the "Not Spam" button to tell your email client that you would like to receive this message in the future.

Veracross Email Servers

In each of the steps below, you will need the following email addresses:

  • m@mail.veracross.com
  • m@mail1.veracross.com
  • m@mail2.veracross.com
  • m@mail3.veracross.com
  • m@mail4.veracross.com

Gmail

If you are given the option to upload a vCard file to your contacts, please use the following file. Otherwise, proceed with the steps below.

When you add a sender’s email address to your contacts, it tells Google you want to receive email from that sender. This method does not guarantee messages from the desired sender won’t be sent to spam, but it’s an easy way to make it more likely the desired email will arrive in your inbox.

  1. On your computer, go to contacts.google.com
  2. At the top left corner, select Create contact
  3. Enter the contact’s information, including each of email addresses listed above
  4. Select Save in the bottom right corner

Outlook

If you are given the option to upload a vCard file to your contacts, please use the following file. Otherwise, proceed with the steps below.

By default, email addresses in your Outlook contacts are considered safe senders by the Junk Email Filter, but you can change this setting. Email messages from safe senders are never routed to the Junk E-mail folder.

To add people to your Safe Senders List, do the following:

  1. Sign into your Outlook.com account from a computer
  2. Select the Settings icon (gear icon) at the top-right corner
  3. Select View all Outlook settings
  4. Select Mail
  5. Select Junk email
  6. Under the Safe senders and domains header, select Add
  7. Enter the email addresses listed above, pressing the [Enter] key on your keyboard after each one is entered
  8. Select the Save button that appears in the bottom-right corner

iCloud

If you are given the option to upload a vCard file to your contacts, please use the following file. Otherwise, proceed with the steps below.

When you add a sender’s email address to your contacts, it tells iCloud you want to receive email from that sender. This method does not guarantee messages from the desired sender won’t be sent to the junk folder, but it’s an easy way to make it more likely the desired email will arrive in your inbox.

  1. In the Contacts on iCloud.com, select the Add (+) button in the sidebar, then choose New Contact
  2. Enter the email addresses listed above
  3. Select Done

AOL

If you are given the option to upload a vCard file to your contacts, please use the following file. Otherwise, proceed with the steps below.

  1. From Aol Mail, select Contacts
  2. Select the Add Contact icon
  3. Enter each of the email addresses listed above
  4. Select Add Contact to save
